Disclaimer: This is a funny video – nothing more, nothing less. I did not spray glyphosate on anything, it was water. I also did not eat any of these (except the strawberries that were actually organic). All of these foods are likely to contain glyphosate residue or other synthetic pesticides.

Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Roundup- the world’s most widely used herbicide and it’s regularly found in crops like wheat, corn, oats, soy, and even some fruits and vegetables. It’s been classified as a “probable human carcinogen” by the World Health Organization and detected in the urine of over 80% of Americans (per CDC data).

The foods shown in this video are considered safe by regulatory standards, but that doesn’t mean they’re biologically optimal- especially when consumed daily or in combination with dozens of other pesticide residues.

We don’t have enough long-term research to know the full effects of chronic, low-level exposure to glyphosate and other synthetic pesticides across different systems in the body.

I’m not saying eating any of these once will drop you on the spot- but I am saying it’s worth paying attention to what is in our “food.”

Since these are not evolutionarily consistent, I do not see any benefit in consuming these “in moderation”- I just see them as major downside risks.

Hope this video makes you laugh, question, and maybe rethink some of what ends up in your cart.

It might be normalized, but it’s not normal.
