Virginia Gov. Spanberger Tapped to Deliver Democratic Response to Trump’s State of the Union

Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger will deliver the Democratic response to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address next Tuesday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) announced on Thursday. Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) will deliver a Spanish-language response immediately following Spanberger’s remarks.
