Trump warns Iranian World Cup team away from U.S. for 'their own life and safety'

President Donald Trump suggested Thursday that he cannot guarantee the security of Iran's soccer team if it travels to the U.S. to compete in the World Cup later this year."The Iran National Soccer Team is welcome to The World Cup, but I really don’t believe it is appropriate that they be there, for their own life and safety," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
