Trump Signs Executive Order to Extend TikTok Deadline by Another 90 Days

President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order to extend the deadline for the sale of TikTok for another 90 days. ByteDance, a Chinese company with ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), was nearing a June 19 deadline to sell TikTok’s U.S. operations and assets under a national security law that was upheld by the Supreme Court earlier this year.
