President Donald Trump and first lady Melania are visiting the flood-ravaged areas in Texas, as a dozen states send teams to help in the search for victims. President Trump imposed a 35 percent blanket tariff on Canadian imports. He blamed Ottawa for failing to stop deadly fentanyl and for targeting U.S. dairy farmers. A group of House Democrats says congress needs to modernize the energy grid to make it less vulnerable in the future.
