Parody LinkedIn post of Elmo being 'laid off' goes viral

A parody account on LinkedIn is going viral after a post said Elmo was fired. “Unfortunately Elmo was recently laid off. Elmo worked at Sesame Street for 45 years. Elmo is sad," the post says. While the post did not actually come from Elmo or "Sesame Street," the message urges people to reach out to Congress to help save public broadcasting.
