GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw Defeated by Primary Challenger

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) has been defeated in his primary bid for the GOP nomination for Texas’s 2nd Congressional District, losing to a challenger from the right in what could be the night’s biggest electoral upset. At 1 a.m. ET on March 4, the Associated Press declared that Republican Steve Toth had won the race. At the time, Toth had an 18-point lead over Crenshaw.
