Congressman seeks to ban ‘surveillance pricing’

For years, companies have collected user data to determine how to market to them. Now, there are signs that companies are using that same information to determine how much to charge individual consumers. Rep. Greg Casar (D-Texas) is spearheading new legislation to make that illegal.
